More than 200 golfers expected to compete in the 17th La Finca Resort Anniversary Tournament

This weekend, La Finca Golf, one of the top golf courses on the Costa Blanca, is holding the 17th Anniversary Tournament with more than 200 participants. The golf tournament is due to take place on Saturday 10 August and the day will be rounded off with an awards ceremony, prize draws and a cocktail reception.

La Finca Golf is celebrating 17 years of history in style on Saturday 10 August with an anniversary tournament in which more than 200 amateur golfers will be competing for three prizes in each category (1st Category Gentlemen, 2nd Category Gentlemen and Ladies Single Category).

Other prizes will also be awarded to make the day more challenging for all the golfers: Junior Prize, Ball Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive (Gentlemen), Longest Drive (Ladies) and Special Scratch Prize. The top prizes range from La Finca Golf Club membership (1 year, 6 months or 3 months) as well as Green Fees packages, invitations to next year’s tournament and so on.

The tournament is played in Stableford Individual mode and has a limited handicap (22 gentlemen, 24 ladies) with a choice of a morning (8.30 am) or afternoon (2 pm) shotgun tee off. The summer’s main golf event culminates in the cocktail reception and awards ceremony with prize draw on the clubhouse terrace from 8.30 pm onwards.
